I have always had a fascination for Doctor Who ever since I was a little boy. I was a little too young to remember the 'hiding behind the sofa' phase that my parents spoke of but I once offended my dad by pointing to his Bob Dylan 'Blonde On Blonde' album and saying, 'Hey, that's Doctor Who!!!' In my defence, Tom Baker was The Doctor at the time. The BBC have brought the character totally up-to-date with their recent productions and this has resulted in a whole legion of new fans who now know the terrors of the Dalek and the Cyberman.
